The **First Steps Parenting Service** is looking for a dedicated **Administrative Officer** to join our close-knit team. You’ll be working alongside experienced clinicians including social workers, nurses, paediatricians, and allied health professionals - all committed to providing exceptional care to families in our community. **About the Role**: As the **Administrative Officer**, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our service. Acting as the first point of contact for families and service providers, your strong communication and organisational skills will help support both the team and our clients. Provide general administrative and clerical support to the multidisciplinary team - Serve as the primary contact for incoming calls and public enquiries - Oversee accurate data entry for child behaviour and caregiver checklists - Maintain and manage both electronic and physical patient records - Record and track maintenance requests for the service - Coordinate the booking system for fleet vehicles, ensuring availability and efficient use **About You** - You’re organised, efficient, and confident managing multiple tasks at once - You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal - You thrive in a team environment and are always willing to lend a hand - You are confident working with databases, Microsoft Office, and internal systems - Experience in a healthcare or community service setting is an advantage **Benefits**: - Four weeks annual leave (pro-rata for part-time employees) - Up to 12 allocated days off each year (for full-time employees) - Superannuation contributions 12% - Salary packaging - Fitness Passport - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for staff and family members **Additional Information**: This recruitment may create an eligibility list for future opportunities.
