About The Role
We are seeking an Administration Officer to join our district-wide Children in Care Health Program. This important service supports improved health outcomes for children in care, and as part of the team you'll provide vital administrative support to ensure services run smoothly and efficiently.

This role offers variety and purpose - you'll be a key communication point between the team and our consumers, managing correspondence and phone calls, processing referrals, and assisting clinicians by gathering information and maintaining accurate records. You'll also work with spreadsheets, databases and working documents to ensure up-to-date information is available when needed.

In This Role, You'll

  • Provide a central point of communication between consumers, carers and the team.
  • Accept and process referrals, following up additional information where required.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, spreadsheets and working documents.
  • Support clinicians with administrative tasks to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Handle correspondence and phone enquiries in a professional and timely manner.

About You
You're a detail-oriented, adaptable administrator who thrives in a collaborative team environment. You bring professionalism, accuracy and excellent communication skills, and you're motivated by contributing to positive outcomes for children in care.

You Must Have

  • Strong computer literacy, with the ability to adapt to new systems and applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in your work.
  • Teamwork skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Awareness of privacy and confidentiality requirements (with training provided regarding children in care).

Why Join Us?

  • Mandatory and ongoing education opportunities to develop your skills.
