- Moonee Valley Council is seeking a motivated and experienced Box Office Supervisor to provide friendly, focussed and flexible customer service to patrons, hirers and users of the Clocktower Centre as part of the ticketing and front of house team.- After 16 years of dedicated service an exciting and rare opportunity has arisen to lead our box office team. The Box Office Supervisor is responsible for providing a professionally operated Box Office service for one of Melbourne's premier performing arts venues, the Clocktower Centre. From managing all aspects of the venue's computerised ticketing system to contributing to the marketing of the Centre's programs, the Box Office Supervisor will be involved in the delivery of a consistent service to all users of the centre, from fully professional touring theatre companies to local schools, community groups and commercial hirers.- We are looking for someone that has demonstrated experience in ticketing and any prior history using Enta/VivaTicket and building ticketing events will be highly regarded. Experience with Excel or similar and data extraction (data lists), and/or experience in digital marketing skills such as website updating, e-newsletter collation will also be highly regarded. This role will suit someone who has an interest in current and upcoming digital technology related to ticketing.**Key Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Maintain, manage and administer a computerised ticketing system (ENTA/VivaTicket) to ensure a high-quality Box Office service that reflects the industry benchmark
- Develop and oversee all Box Office operational policies, procedures and systems
- Develop and maintain the ticketing database
- Maintain accuracy of all financial aspects of the Box Office operations in conjunction with the Box Office Attendant
- Liaise with all Box Office stakeholders, including Ticketing providers, council and hirers to ensure the smooth operation of events and ticketing
- Prepare mailing lists and reports from ticketing database to support the Department’s marketing activities and inform future marketing initiatives
- Coordinate the pool of Casual Box Office staff with regards to their rostering, training, supervision, recruitment and performance management

**Skills and Experience**:

- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in the operation of a performing arts venue that facilitates a busy calendar of events used by a wide range of professional and commercial hirers, as well as community groups
- Demonstrated experience in the management and administration of a computerised ticketing system
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service that is friendly, focused and flexible, and contributes to a team environment as well as providing consistent support to a diverse range of clients and users
- Demonstrated understanding of programming for a performing arts venue in order to assist and advise on pricing, marketing, packages, subscriptions, etc.
- Ability to supervise, roster and lead a pool of part time and casual staff
