We are seeking an ambitious and versatile individual to join our accounting department team as an Accounts Payable Administrator with high attention to detail and the ability to work closely with various teams across the company. The role:
- Ensure accurate data entry of local and overseas invoices in a timely manner.
- Schedule and manage overseas supplier payment terms, deposit, and final payments.
- Cost and process shipments in a timely manner.
- Process payment runs to domestic and international suppliers (predominantly China & India), weekly and as required.
- Obtain forward exchange contracts and managing contracts to cover overseas payments ensuring mínimal exposure.
- Review and record credit card expense claims ensuring documentation is complete.
- Complete supplier statement reconciliations monthly, including claims.
- Take initiative in investigating and resolving queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain supplier specification records.
- Assist with month end closing.
- Work closely with the finance team and other operations within the company.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $72,438.64 per year
Expected hours: 30 per week
