**About us**

Established in 1871, the Art Gallery of New South Wales is located in Sydney’s The Domain adjacent to the Royal Botanic Garden and near the Central Business District, the Gallery acknowledges the original custodians of this land - the Gadigal people of the Eora nation.

The Gallery attracts around 1.4 million visitors annually and runs Australia’s largest education program with over 90,000 student and teacher visits per year.

With our expanded campus recent opening the Gallery has a new state-of-the-art building located next to our existing and much-loved building. Providing us with close to double the exhibition space, the expanded Gallery enables us to share more art with more people and provide more family, learning and educational programming for all our audiences.

**About the Role**
- Lead and manage the overall Audio Visual operational and project service and support function to ensure the achievement of the Gallery’s objectives and project outcomes.

**What technical / soft skills you require**

1. Extensive knowledge and experience in leading and managing a Audio Visual services team delivering services in a complex venue environment

2. Demonstrated experience in delivery of digital media presentation strategies.

3. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of existing and emerging presentation and production technologies across the range of audio, video, recording, live streaming, lighting, staging, and digital media.

4. Demonstrated understanding WH&S principles to ensure a safe working environment.

1. Describe a recent example where you were involved in coordinating input from multiple internal stakeholders required for an event for a high level, diverse audience. What was the project, how did you approach stakeholder management and expectation and what was the result? (maximum of 400 words).

2. Describe a time when you have had to provide advice or suggestions to an internal stakeholder about an AV project or request that was not well received. What was your intention and what was the result? What did you learn from that experience? (400 words)
