Sub-Contractor Opportunity - Behaviour Support Practitioner (All Levels Welcome)

**About the Role**

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our growing team. In this role, you will work with individuals, families, support workers, and other professionals to assess behaviours of concern and develop Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) in line with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission guidelines.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop behaviour support plans tailored to the individual’s needs.
- Deliver services in both English and Arabic, ensuring culturally responsive and inclusive practice.
- Ensure all BSPs are evidence-based, trauma-informed, and aligned with the NDIS Behaviour Support Capability Framework.
- Collaborate with participants, families, support coordinators, and other allied health professionals.
- Provide training and coaching to stakeholders to support implementation of behaviour support strategies.
- Monitor and review behaviour support plans and progress, updating documents in line with legislative and participant needs.
- Ensure compliance with NDIS Commission reporting requirements, including reportable incidents and restrictive practices.

**Essential Criteria**
- Arabic speaking - **fluency in Arabic is mandatory** for this role.
- Qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or a related field to behaviour management.
- Current registration or eligibility to register as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Commission.
- Some experience in developing and implementing behaviour support strategies.
- Understanding of person-centred and trauma-informed practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a caseload independently.
- Current Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Police Check.
- Valid Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle (if travel is required).

**Desirable Criteria**
- Knowledge of the Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework.
- Experience working with individuals with complex behavioural needs.

**How to Apply**

Pay: $45.00 - $110.00 per hour
