- Your schedule, your way - because delivering great support starts with balance
- Genuine autonomy -we trust our team to do their best work in ways that suit them
- We support your leadership journey - whether you're starting out or stepping up
At Avina, supervision isn't an afterthought - it's central to everything we do. It's how we ensure quality. It's how we grow future leaders. And it's how we build a values-driven, high-performing behaviour support team that makes a genuine difference in people's lives.

Someone ready to step into a bigger space - mentoring clinicians, shaping clinical excellence, and guiding the next generation of practitioners across South Australia.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on connection, wants to give back to the profession, and understands that great supervision is about more than just compliance - it's about elevating practice.
A Day in the Life

- Visit Avina clinics across SA to provide face-to-face coaching and mentoring (travel is part of the fun - we'll support it)
- Facilitate Communities of Practice and peer learning sessions to embed consistency and connection
- Act as a subject matter expert for behaviour support - supporting practice improvements and evidence-based approaches
- Work collaboratively with Team Leaders & Clinical Supervisors to address practice concerns and develop growth plans
- Support professional development, contribute to student placement capacity, and help grow a strong, capable team
What We Offer
We're not just offering a job - we're offering a platform to lead, grow, and make a lasting impact.
- Genuine Flexibility: Full-time or part-time, with hybrid and travel-supported options
- Leadership Development: Ongoing internal PD, clinical leadership programs, and peer support
- Supportive Environment: A culture that prioritises wellbeing, respect, and transparency
- Travel Perks: Pool cars available for clinic visits, with structured support for travel
- Work-Life Balance: Monthly RDOs, generous leave options, and a team that gets it
- Giving Back: Opportunities to influence supervision models, grow student placements, and lead by example
What You Bring
- NDIS-registered Behaviour Support Practitioner at Proficient, Specialist or Advanced level
- Proven clinical expertise in working with people with complex needs
- Strong background in coaching, mentoring or leading teams - or a clear drive to build those skills
- Ability to supervise across metro and regional locations (DIDO/FIFO options supported)
- Deep understanding of trauma-informed, person-centered, and evidence-based approaches
- Current Driver's License, WWCC, NDIS Worker Screening, and unrestricted working rights in Australia
Join a Team That Cares
Avina is part of the AHTG family - a community of allied health providers with a shared commitment to client-centric, inclusive, and impactful care. As we expand across South Australia, you'll be a key part of building something new and meaningful.
Let's chat about your next step.
