Accounts Receivable Officer

**Your new team**

To assist in the full key functions within the Accounts Receivable team and provide support within Group Finance to all Auto & General companies.

**The role**
- Accounts Receivable functions including:

- Processing debtor invoices
- Day-to-day receipting of payments and deposits
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies
- Chargeback queries & resolution
- Generating monthly statements
- Assisting with month-end
- Investigate and resolve queries
- Ensure policies and procedures are complied with to ensure a high level of integrity
- Assist in Adhoc Accounts tasks
- Learning and understanding existing process frameworks to assist with continuous improvements that would benefit the business through improved efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of annual external audits and internal audits.
- Assist in End of Financial Year close off.
- Assist in business projects as required by the Accounts Manager.
- Take all reasonable directions from leaders to comply with the organisation’s workplace health & safety (WHS) protocols. WHS is everyone’s responsibility.

**What experience you’ll bring**
- 2 - 3 Yeas experience in a similar role
- Preferable experience in a large office environment
- Understanding of GST requirements
- Preferable high volume data entry skills
- Proficient and accurate data entry skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and Gmail and an integrated financial software package.
- Attention to detail is a must, excellent time and self-management skills, demonstrating an ability to take responsibility, team player, logical and organised.
- Ability to work with a varied range of people.
