The Great Southern Hotel (GSH) is a busy heritage-listed hotel located in the heart of Sydney’s vibrant entertainment district, offering 176 rooms and maintaining an occupancy rate of 99%. The hotel is within walking distance of the CBD, Central Station, Chinatown, Darling Harbour and Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centres. The Great Southern Hotel is currently seeking a well presented individual to join our Front Office team in the Casual position of Guest Service Agent.

About the role:
As our Guest Service Agent, your responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring smooth check-in and check-out of guests in a timely manner
- Delivering prompt and efficient service when attending to a variety of guest requests
- Effectively communicating with all departments of the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction and operational requirements are achieved
- Answering calls in a professional manner
- Informing guests of all facilities and services in the hotel

About you:

- A commitment to outstanding customer service
- Previous experience in customer service
- Excellent grooming and presentation skills
- A warm and friendly personality
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- The ability to work under pressure
- Must be available to work AM or PM shifts on a flexible rotating roster.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Guest Service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Australian Working Rights (preferred)
