**Full-time Service Coordinator Positions Available**
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated, truly committed and passionate about making people's lives better. This position will see the **Service Coordinator** (Day Services) overseeing multiple day services and will be responsible for implementing and delivering programs to support the goals of the participants’ individualised NDIS plans. The role will lead, guide and mentor the team to ensure the programs are being delivered to a high standard of quality customer service. Service Coordinator will be responsible for building services and increasing the capacity of participants as well as increasing staff expertise and productivity within the service.
Reporting to the Day Services Manager, there are 2 full-time roles available, one located in Eastern Suburbs, second in Cherrybrook/Castle Hill area with working hours Monday to Friday, office hours.

**Responsibilities**
1. Operational Governance and Program delivery
- Ensuring that Inala operations and services comply with NDIS guidelines, price guide and the legislative and reporting requirements of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
- Overseeing the ongoing review, implementation and evaluation of Inala’s NDIS Programs of Support ensuring that clients receive high quality support to enhance their experience and meet their NDIS Plan outcomes.
- Reviewing the monthly participant invoicing, to ensure that operations are within the participant funding envelope and Inala budget ensuring the financial viability of the service.
- Ensuring compliance obligations for Inala are adhered to, including statutory record keeping and reporting, incident reporting, WHS, feedback and complaints management with regulatory compliance.
- Overseeing participant movements, including the effectively managing the entry and exits of new participants, and correlating staffing ratio adjustments as needed.
- Providing advice to participants and their carers on the evolving environment of the NDIS and services available
- Supporting and supervision of direct support staff
- Involvement in recruitment for their services
2. Service Growth and Planning
- Identifying and advising on growth opportunities for Inala.
- Ensuring Inala adhere to the latest operational NDIS and other regulatory requirements by reading news alerts and attending conferences, seminars, and meetings.
3. Quality and Compliance
- Ensuring that Inala is compliant with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and Practice Standards and other relevant legislative requirement standards.
- Actively supporting Day Services Manager with initiatives and processes which include but are not limited to: Legislative compliance and Policy Development.
- Actively Ensure all risk management process and procedures are implemented accordingly in line with Inala’s risk management framework
- Identifying, developing, implementing, and evaluating continuous quality improvement activities which include accreditation processes, risk management, complaints management, incident management and reporting, health and safety etc.
- Following relevant legislation and guidelines for disability services, including the NDIS Code of Conduct, the Disability Act and the NDIS Act.
**Essential Criteria**
- Certificate III or higher in Disability/Community Services or equivalent
- Commitment to the human-centered Ethos and approaches of Inala
- Full working rights in Australia
- Fully vaccinated against COIVD-19 (3 doses)
- Current drivers license
- Current first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- NDISWC (or willingness to obtain)
- Completion of the NDIS Online Workers Module
**Desirable Criteria**
- Relevant 3- or 4-year degree or Certificate IV in Disability Services and/or demonstrated disability service experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills that value individual and cultural diversity and which foster productive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
