**The Role**
The Cyber Security Officer is responsible for supporting the development, implementation and maintenance of ODPP cyber security frameworks, policies and guidelines ensuring that the ODPP successfully manages its compliance, legal and regulatory obligations.
**Key accountabilities**:
- Monitor, improve compliance with and report against the requirements of NSW Cyber Security Policy.
- Identify and manage information security risks and prepare risk assessments for all relevant technology changes in the IM&T environment and related business operations.
- Responsible for the ISMS administration, maintenance and documentation to maintain conformance with the ISO 27001 standard.
- Manage all internal and external IT security audits including resolution of resultant findings.
- Responsible for all security reports to Executive, management committees and Audit Risk Committee.
- Ongoing administration and continual improvements to the ODPP BCP and DRP programs.
- Contribute to the reliable, secure, effective and efficient use and operation of all aspects of the Office’s technology environment.
**About you**
- Relevant degree in computer technology or equivalent experience.
- CISM or equivalent security qualification is preferred.
- Proven ability to identify and assess information security risks.
- High proficiency in problem solving and working as part of a team.
- Effective influencing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
