Cyber Security Officer

**6 months contract role with possible extension.**:
- **Daily pay rate up to $700 **+ Super.**:
- **Working 38 hours per week, 7.6 hours per day.**:
- **Work Location: Sydney Olympic Park.**
**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**:
You will assist the manager and the team with the implementation of the Cyber Security Policy and Essential 8, including annual reporting and attestation.
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
- Assisting the manager and team with the implementation of the Cyber Security Policy and Essential 8, including annual reporting and attestation.
- Provide cyber security advice to employees and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain cyber security policies, processes, and standards.
- Carry out risk management activities such as risk assessments, maintain the cyber risk register, and coordinate risk treatment plans.
- Maintain and execute the cyber security plan.
- Preparation of quarterly cyber security updates to be presented to the Audit and Risk Committee and Executive Leadership Team.
- Coordinate red team activities such as vendor engagements for penetration testing and phishing simulations.
- Monitor and respond to cyber events and incidents.
