Our hard working, driven and focused Cyber Security team within Service NSW is constantly evolving, achieving, and thriving to deliver great results by listening to the business and customer needs. As the Cyber Security Officer your new role will see you support the Service NSW Cyber Governance and Assurance Team with compliance activities and assessments against NSW Government policies and industry standards. **Your day-to-day**
- Provide a range of administrative and support services to our team
- Provide logistics support to ensure meetings, workshops, and events are effectively organised, and the right stakeholders are invited
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation working directly with digital teams to uplift their compliance
- Assist in the development and writing of compliance reports and assessment findings
- Assist with the tracking of open compliance actions and gathering updates from teams across the agency

**About you**
- Have well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- You will be outcome focused with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with a range of key stakeholders
- Be a curious learner who can pick up new systems quickly
- Resourceful in finding information, taking ownership of challenges and planning ahead
- You are determined, flexible and self-driven - able to plan and prioritise your work
- Have a good understanding of ICT and Cyber Security terminology and concepts
- Experience in the ISO27001 standard is desirable
