Programmed Skilled Workforce currently have an exciting opportunity available for a casual trade qualified Mechanical Fitter located in the Southern suburbs to work with our highly regarded customer.

Programmed Skilled Workforce is looking for an experienced mechanical Fitter to work at our valued client.

**The role may require**:

- Preventative maintenance
- General onsite maintenance including pre-start check-ups and fault finding for breakdowns

**To be successful for the role you would have the following**:

- Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting
- Experience within the trade in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Have experience in machine troubleshooting /problem solving and fault finding
- Possess the ability to work autonomously and use your initiative
- General machining, fitting, and welding skills
- Have an eager attitude to continue learning
- Ability to troubleshoot problems
- Ability to participate in a full pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol test

**What would be highly regarded**:

- High Risk Forklift Licence
- Working Safely at Heights Ticket
- Confined Space Entry
- High Risk Elevated Work Platform Licence
