**About Us**:
Worongary State School was established in 1993 to service the communities of Worongary, Carrara and Boonooroo. The area was used back in the second world war as an aerodrome to transport supplies to the Canungra base. The name Worongary is derived from an Aboriginal word meaning 'the vine that climbs' and this vine is featured on our school emblem which bears the motto 'Strength through wisdom'.

**Your Opportunity**:
As the Administrative Officer (AAEP) you will contribute to the effective and efficient administrative management of the school by providing relevant and timely administrative support to the Principal and Business Manager. You will work within existing guidelines to provide basic resolution of problems by reference to established procedure, consulting the Principal or Business Manager for matters that are more complex or non-routine.

**About the Role**:
As the Administrative Officer (AAEP) your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Autonomy to perform a variety of day to day administrative and support services that are routine in nature and directed by the Principal or the Business Manager.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
