The **Workers' Compensation Eligibility Case Manager** is responsible for managing and overseeing workers' compensation claims. This role involves assessing claim eligibility, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- ** Claims Assessment**: Evaluate new claims for eligibility under self-insurance policies and applicable workers' compensation laws.
- ** Stakeholder Coordination**: Work closely with injured employees, healthcare providers, legal teams, and customer injury management personnel to facilitate communication and resolve issues.
- ** Documentation**: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claims activities, communications, and decisions made throughout the claims process.
- ** Compliance Monitoring**: Ensure all claims comply with state and federal regulations and internal policies regarding self-insurance.
- ** Employee Support**: Provide guidance and support to injured employees regarding their rights, benefits, and responsibilities under workers' compensation laws.
- ** Training and Development**: Assist in the training of staff on workers' compensation assessment processes and self-insurance practices.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources, Risk Management desirable.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in workers' compensation claims management or case management.
- Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws and self-insurance regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

**Working Conditions**
- Hybrid or Remote work arrangement available.
- Occasional travel may be required for meetings or site visits.
