About the role 

The primary purpose of this role is to manage the day-to-day work activity of the High-Risk Eligibility team to ensure legislative timeframes and performance targets are met.

  • Support, coach, and mentor a team of Eligibility Specialists ensuring team and organizational objectives are met
  • Manage Eligibility Service Model and customer experience
  • Provide technical guidance and exemplary customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Complete key deliverables set by internal customers within the required standards and timeframes
  • Ensure best practice eligibility management is implemented and followed within the team
  • Identify individual areas for improvement and coach staff sot they can reach their full potential and achieve outcomes required
  • Participate in internal and external meetings when required

About you

  • Experience as a Team Leader/ Manager or equivalent in the VIC Worker's Compensation field, preferably in an Eligibility environment
  • Experience in the worker's compensation scheme, in particular Eligibility and/or Technical Management
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating and engaging with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Excellent diligent and time management skills
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
