**Claims Advisor (Claims Operations - Specialty)**

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced claims professional to join Marsh’s Claims Operations team. In this newly created position, you will be responsible for managing claims and assisting the wider Specialty Claims Team through clear and effective communication.

You will work closely with our broking teams and play a pivotal role in ensuring we deliver a high level of claims management services to clients and brokers managing Industrial Special Risks and Liability claims through consulting, advisory, advocacy and negotiation.

**We will count on you to**:

- Drive the settlement negotiation process and negotiate on behalf of client.
- Meets service levels set out in Client Service Agreement or Claims Unit standards.
- Responds to queries from clients and brokers.
- Prepares routine and ad hoc reports including claims trends analysis.
- Prepare quarterly and/or annual claims reviews.
- Prepares quarterly and/or annual claims reviews.
- Attends client meetings.
- Conducts training for clients as required.
- Manages basic to moderately complex claims according to the Company’s processes and client agreements, liaising with the Major Claims Unit as required.
- Liaises with clients, insurers, claimants and external providers and maintains relationships with contacts.
- Interprets policy wordings.
- Analyses claims history data.
- Arranges/conducts investigations.
- Determines claim settlements for under-deductible claims.
- Participate in peer review/ audit process.
- Participate in projects related to continuous improvement and efficiency of the Claims Team.

**We would like you to have**:

- Exhibit expertise and knowledge managing Industrial Special Risks and Liability claims across a broad range of clients.
- Tier 1 ANZIIF qualification and/or a strong background of vocational experience in claims management.
- Technical knowledge and claims analysis.
- Ability to maintain and strengthen relationships with clients and insurers and their respective agents and representatives.
- Good negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
