**About the company**

Highly successful, leading steel fabrication & manufacturing company based South of Brisbane near Logan. Long history in QLD offering services from fabrication, laser cutting, cnc, finishing through to assembly across a range of industries.

**About the role**

As the Shop Manager / Workshop Supervisor you will be responsible for the overall supervision of the workshop crew and the work carried out. Ensure quality mig & tig, fabrication, laser cutting and assembly are to quality standards. Ensure crew safety procedures are adhered to, while also making sure jobs are fulfilled to spec and timelines. A strong understanding of general metal & steel fabrication is required and workshop processes.

**Requirements for this role**
- General metal & steel fabrication background.
- Experience supervising crews in a busy workshop.
- Strong ability to lead and motivate workers.
- Experienced understanding of the full fabrication process.
- Good understanding of OH&S procedures.
