We are looking for a Workshop Supervisor to join our Meadowbrook Branch. The successful candidate will guide the team to develop, support and maintain an engaged, productive and committed workforce. Experience in the Hire Industry is preferred, you will be competent navigating various software programs to ensure your success in this fast-paced role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently manage the coordination & scheduling of workshop service requirements (maintenance, system installation & commissioning, fabrication, electrical and testing)
  • Ensuring efficient operation of equipment by establishing preventative maintenance & servicing schedules
  • Assisting the Branch Manager as required to plan & support site works, this includes but is not limited to rosters, equipment & labour
  • Servicing, installations, and repairs of equipment in the workshop (and the field as required)
  • Support, coach, and manage the service/maintenance team to a high standard
  • Ensure procurement of cost-effective spare parts & identify requirements to ensure availability
  • Lead by example to promote a positive commitment to company values, safety, and workshop systems
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders for effective service delivery
  • Completion of daily paperwork (i.e. job sheets, toolbox meetings, pre-starts etc)
  • Manage rostering requirements to ensure that personnel availability meets requirements for job schedules
  • Efficiently prioritise, quick decision making on various tasks with limited guidance in the company's best interest in a fast-paced environment
  • Work effectively within deadlines, adapting to changes on-site or in the workshop
  • Ensure accurate, concise, and timely record keeping of workshop duties / jobs to staff and managers
  • Proactively be involved in relevant meetings and reviews, and communicate to ensure that your team has a clear understanding of any expectations, policies or procedures implemented by NPE
  • Manage hazard reporting & action open hazards in the workplace
  • Respond promptly to emails in a timely and professional manner
  • Create reports using word and excel for internal / external stakeholders
  • Other duties as required by Manager
  • Experience in a workshop supervisory (or similar) position
  • Demonstrated understanding of relevant plant (diesel and electrical pumps), equipment, pipe works and installations
  • Demonstrated high level of problem solving and communication skills
  • Proven leadership ability to develop, empower and motivate employees to obtain the required objectives
  • Results driven, solutions focused and highly organised
  • Exposure to heavy vehicles and machinery
  • Able to use Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
  • Current C-class Driver's License
  • Pump Experience - Electric and Diesel
  • Ability to read and test Pumps to OEM Pump Curves
  • MR Truck License
