Support and provide extensive case management to Asylum Seekers and Refugees

**Your new company**

They not only work with new arrivals but also with the community, business and Government to develop sustainable and effective settlement solutions for the whole Australian community.

**Your new role**
You will work collaboratively with the Team, Clients and relevant stakeholders to provide holistic, strengths-based case management, information and referral services to Clients. The Case Manager coordinates the implementation of the case management plan and plays a vital role in ensuring that clients have access to all required services to achieve settlement outcomes. you will provide a comprehensive and culturally-sensitive range of supports to vulnerable clients. You will oversee the daily activities of the client and ensure the clients well being. In addition to this, you will be required to:

- Conduct accurate and appropriate assessments of individual strengths, needs and goals to determine services required to achieve settlement outcomes across a range of areas including health, mental health, community participation, accommodation, employment and family support.
- Maintain regular contact with clients to develop, implement, monitor and review case management plans and assess progress towards achieving settlement outcomes.
- Accurately identify and manage risk in relation to clients and ensure client incidents are reported within required timeframes.
- Accompany clients to employment appointments and assist them with implementing strategies to engage in employment pathways.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate experience working with Asylum Seekers or Refugees. Suitable applicants must hold a valid Working With Children Check and be willing to undergo a Police Check. You will ideally also demonstrate:

- Strong written communication, report writing and word processing skills.
- Strong organisational, time management and administrative skills with the ability to work with a high level of autonomy.
- Highly effective interpersonal and cross cultural communication skills and an interest in working with CALD community organisations.
- Experience working autonomously and within multi-disciplinary teams to achieve agreed goals and
- Certificate III in Community Services and/or qualifications in Health or Management of Equivalent experience in service delivery will be highly regarded.
