POSITION, PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and achieve measurable growth across multiple brands and client accounts, including Get Scaled, and their subsidiaries.

This role blends creative storytelling, data-driven strategy, and community-first execution to deliver high-performing content and build strong brand presence across platforms. It requires both strategic planning and hands-on management of content, campaigns, and communities, ensuring that all social media efforts align with business objectives and audience needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with business goals, audience behaviour, and brand guidelines (PAS, StoryBrand, They Ask, You Answer frameworks).
- Coordinate with the Marketing Manager and Founder to adapt strategies to evolving priorities and platform dynamics.
- Ensure strategies support both corporate growth and the personal brand presence of leadership.

Content Creation & Management
- Own and manage the content calendar for Get Scaled, Agava, and select client accounts.
- Write high-converting hooks, captions, and short-form scripts in an AU English tone that resonates with business owners, plain-spoken, value-driven, with personality and humour.
- Coordinate with editors and creatives: brief videographers, chase assets, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality visual and written content.
- Create content packs for internal and client use, obtain approvals, and schedule posts across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads).

Publishing & Platform Management
- Publish and schedule content tailored to each platform’s quirks, algorithms, and best practices.
- Manage day-to-day posting, ensure posting cadence, and track organic performance and user interaction.

Community Management & Engagement
- Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a voice aligned with the brand or personal tone of the founder.
- Proactively engage with followers, influencers, and partners to build loyalty and brand trust.
- Support community growth by nurturing meaningful online relationships.

Campaigns & Promotions
- Plan and run organic campaigns, contests, and content series to drive engagement, awareness, and conversions.
- Collaborate with marketing and client teams to ensure campaign alignment with wider initiatives.
- Identify brand advocates and amplify user-generated content when appropriate.

Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor key performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, click-throughs, etc.) using Instagram Insights, YouTube Studio, Google Analytics, and platform-native tools.
- Translate performance data into actionable insights and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Provide weekly and monthly performance reports in plain English summaries.

Systems, Libraries & SOPs
- Maintain and continuously update a digital asset library of content templates, SOPs, checklists, and swipe files.
- Ensure resources are accessible and efficiently organised for team-wide use.
- Keep Asana up to date and well-maintained.

Client Interaction & Collaboration
- Support client-facing social media workshops and advisory calls when needed.

Collaborate with design, video, communications, and customer service teams to ensure aligned brand messaging and content delivery.

Trend Monitoring & Innovation
- Keep up with platform trends, new features, and evolving social behaviours.
- Experiment with new content formats, tools, and strategies (e.g., AI tools like ChatGPT, Descript, OpusClip).
- Pitch creative, on-brand content ideas that stand out, no recycled memes or templates.
