As a **Cyber Security Adviser**, you’ll help protect the ATO from cyber threats. You will plan, co-ordinate and administer cyber security policies and procedures. You will increase awareness about cyber security across the organisation, providing advice and assuring integrity controls. You’ll also collaborate and engage with internal and external business partners on complex and sensitive issues relating to cyber security, including managing forums.
Drawing on your expertise, you’ll contribute to the development of innovative and effective security solutions and strategies. You will harness new technology and identify best practice methods to drive continual improvement. You will manage and mentor a team and will contribute to the ongoing development of staff capabilities.
Your work will protect the confidentiality and integrity of data holdings across the tax and superannuation ecosystem.
The Cyber Governance and Operations branch provides a foundation for trust and confidence in the ATO by delivering expert, contemporary cyber security services. We design, build, test and maintain the IT and information systems, services and infrastructure that underpin the ATO’s operations.
These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in **Adelaide, Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Melbourne CBD, Newcastle, Parramatta, Penrith or Sydney CBD.
