Come and discover the opportunity to join our **Australian Steel Markets** team as a **Building** **Construction Specialist** located in **Braeside VIC**. You may be looking for a new challenge, or to get “off the tools”, this opportunity will allow you to try something new whilst utilising your expertise.

With your building and construction background and technical skills, you will provide valuable technical advice and support to our sales team, our residential building customers and their tradespeople, and the broader industry in the usage and benefits of light gauge steel framing in residential building.

You will have the opportunity to work with our experienced and talented team and further enhance the team’s capacity to grow and expand into broader market segments. **What Will You Do?**
- provide ongoing support to builders through ongoing education and technical support
- provide value-adding construction expertise during the pre-sales, negotiation and implementation phase of the build process
- closely liaise with internal builder construction and estimating personnel and internal/external trades to ensure the smooth transition to Light Gauge Steel framing whilst ensuring the use of proper construction techniques
- liaise with and facilitate the relationship between key stakeholders such as Light Gauge Steel fabricators, steel frame installation crews and roof fixers to ensure customer requirements and quality construction standards are met

**More About You**

You don’t need to have experience with Light Gauge Steel framing, we can teach you this - what is important is your experience working in the residential building industry and your experience leading on-site construction teams. In addition, you will bring:

- building trade qualifications
- proven knowledge of common construction methodology and workflows
- effective communication skills to liaise with our customer’s management, technical and trades teams.
- networking and influencing skills to build positive rapport and relationships with our customers.
- problem-solving ability and confidence to pre-empt any potential on-site challenges
