**The Opportunity**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the Event Operations Manager to develop event timelines and resource plans.
- Assist in the planning and execution of all aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor management, logistics, and on-site coordination.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all event requirements are met on time and within budget.
- Assist in the negotiation of contracts and agreements with vendors, and service providers.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to evaluate venue suitability and address any logístical challenges.
- Assisting with Marketing on preparing event-related materials, including invitations, agendas, graphics, and signage.
- Update sponsors and exhibitors’ data on database, share drive and website.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of event staff and volunteers.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for event attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, vendors, and stakeholders, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to event logistics, expenses, and participant feedback.
- Contribute to post-event evaluations and analysis, identifying areas for improvement and implementing lessons learned for future events.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Educated to degree level (or similar professional qualification) - bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Event Planning, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience (2 years) in event planning, operations, or hospitality management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Able to work efficiently under pressure and deadlines
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Logical thinking, a team player, self
- motivated, mature, pleasant and proactive
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
