**Preferred Qualifications**
The Principal consultant will Consult with Cerner clients to deliver consulting services.
Advise clients on workflows across service lines, and guide clients through interdependencies and design decision impacts
Create strategic plan with client to obtain value achievement across service line
Identify workflow and process improvements and make recommendations to client and project leadership
Drive cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders to identify and propose solution enhancements, workflow efficiencies and client relationship strategies
Engage in the sales process to assist with accurate quoting of contractual scope and hours
Contribute to organizational initiatives
People Management Responsibilities (for associates with one or more direct reports):
Seek to understand disagreements, ensure all perspectives are heard and facilitate a plan for resolution.
Delegate the work appropriately, provide clear expectations and follow up to ensure progress and overcome roadblocks. Identify associates and team priorities based on business direction and adjust when needed.
Lead by example and share knowledge and experiences with associates and team. Create a respectful work environment where you advocate for your team, create accountability and recognize accomplishments.
Provide timely feedback to encourage success, ensure accountability and connect opportunities for your associates' development.
Identify the right talent to achieve the desired results. Promote and build a diverse and cohesive team to accomplish objectives and align associates' skills to fill gaps.
**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**
An experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

May act as the team lead on projects. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and configures detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.
5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
