**Position Information**:

- Competitive hourly rate + penalties + 11% superannuation
- 12hr shifts, week on week off rosters (7:7) (one week of days followed by one week of nights)
- Work times: 06:00 - 18:00 and 18:00 - 06:00 (30 min unpaid break)
- Workdays: Monday - Sunday (roster change day is Wednesday)
- Location: City of Cockburn
- Industry: Community and local government
- Assignment type: Full-Time

**About the role**:
CoSafe is the City of Cockburn’s safety and security mobile patrol community engagement service, which provides an extra set of eyes and ears throughout the City of Cockburn’s 23 suburbs. These roles represent an opportunity to make a difference and positively impact the community and individuals, working in small teams. Your duties as a Community Patrol Officer include:

- Support community relations as a representative of CoSafe
- Contribute to the implementation of safety initiatives
- Investigate complaints from the public
- Monitor for antisocial and suspicious behaviour
- Collaborate with WAPOL and DFES to support the community in emergency situations
- Maintain safety in the community
- Develop effective solutions to align CoSafe with their community-first model
- Generate reports and logs
- Drive a commitment to safety culture within the community
- Monitor high-risk areas
- Conduct patrols within the community

**Position requirements**:

- Western Australian Drivers’ licence
- Western Australian Security Officer licence
- Willing to obtain a Police Clearance
- Provide First Aid certificate
