**Multiple Casual Positions**

The City of Cockburn are looking for individuals motivated and passionate about community safety. The CoSafe team is looking for casual Community Safety Patrol Officers to assist with the workload.

**About the Position**

CoSafe attend to a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing community safety including:

- Facility security and alarms
- Addressing staff safety concerns
- Community complaints of anti-social behaviour
- Proactive and reactive high-visibility vehicle and foot patrols
- Enforcement & education of local laws
- Locating and reporting criminal activities
- Environmental health issues
- Assist with emergency response
- The use of the City’s CCTV systems

CoSafe operate on a roster of:

- Shifts include day shifts (0600-1800), afternoon shifts (1200-0000) and night shifts (1800-0600).
- CoSafe is a service committed to 24/7, 365 days a year. You will work weekends and public holidays as required.

**About You**

You will need to possess a very high level of communication, observational skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism.

Given that this role can involve confronting situations, you should possess extensive experience and skills in conflict resolution and de-escalation.

You must be able to work independently most of the time while also collaborating effectively with the team to achieve the best and safest outcomes.

Previous experience and/or qualifications in security, law enforcement or similar is preferred, but we welcome all applicants who are dedicated, reliable, and eager to contribute to a safer community.

**Salary**:

- Level 3: $47.12 to $50.34 per hour inclusive of 25% casual loading (depending on qualifications and experience)

**Hours**: This is a casual contract on an as needs basis, with both day, afternoon and night shifts offered.
