- Salary $142,645 - $166,581 per annum plus car for private use plus super.

**What Type of Person Will Be Successful**
- Qualifications and experience at a senior level in Urban & Regional Planning and/or Sustainable Development.
- Leadership of a large team who worked in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully advocating for investment into community initiatives, infrastructure, or projects.
- Extensive experience in managing planning and development projects in government or private practice.
- Delivery of significant projects which delivered community benefits and enhanced the built and natural environment.
- Thorough understanding of Western Australian Town Planning and environmental legislation/policy principles and practice.
- Knowledge of Building and Health legislation and processes.
- Extensive knowledge across a broad range of scientific and professional disciplines applicable to the land use planning, health services and building functions of local government.
- Professional understanding of the principles and practices applicable to strategic, statutory planning and sustainable development projects and policies.
- Key network contacts with Government and private sector stakeholders associated with land use, planning, building, development, and economic growth.
- An understanding of the relationships between the various spheres of Government and private industry.
- Capacity to make ethical executive decisions under limited direction.
