**Head Of Commercial**:

- Location: Perth Office - CBD, WA, AU- 22 Aug 2024As our Head of Commercial, manage our enterprise-wide commercial and supply chain strategy and execution. Your focus will be on leading and developing the Commercial team to create and implement innovative, growth-focused initiatives that align with our organisational strategy. You will ensure the effective establishment and management of commercial contracts and agreements, maximising value while minimising risk to the company, and supply chain.

**Your role in action -**
- **Strategic Development**: Implement best practices; drive strategic improvements across the value chain
- **Market Awareness**: Monitor external factors (suppliers, energy markets, government initiatives); share insights and identify innovative delivery methods.
- **Contractor Management**: Ensure delivery meets safety, quality, environmental, schedule, and commercial objectives.
- **Strategic Partnerships**: Define and evaluate strategic partnerships; ensure alignment with business goals.
- **Negotiation Expertise**: Maximise commercial advantage through needs assessments, strategic negotiation, and contract management.
- **Supply Chain Management**: Lead supply chain services; implement best practices and cost-effective solutions.
- **Support Services Oversight**: Lead and optimise contract management for IT, Property, Fleet, and Facilities Management.
- **Governance Frameworks**: Manage commercial, contract, and supply chain processes; ensure governance, reporting, and legal compliance.

**What you'll bring -**
- Extensive experience in commercial management with specialised expertise in developing and managing contract panels, formulating and evolving procurement strategies, and leveraging market intelligence to drive commercial success.
- Proven ability to develop commercial strategies to deliver challenging financial and performance targets.
- Experience in negotiating and managing large, complex contracts across various categories.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and ability to assess financial models.
- Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Extensive experience in supply chain management and material optimisation.
- Sound understanding of risk and compliance management.
- Degree qualified in Finance, Commerce, Law or related discipline.
