Key Duties and Responsibilities
- **The Executive Officer Key Responsibilities are**: - Develop, maintain and improve administrative and executive systems thatsupport the Deputy Director-General in a fast-paced and highly sensitive working environment, including the management of the Deputy Director-General's inbox and diary as well as overseeing the organisation of meetings, conferences and events. Display exemplary relationship management with departmental staff, departmental executives, other Offices of the Deputy Directors-General, key external stakeholders and other team members to ensure effective integration, coordination and liaison occurs. Provide timely coordination, advisory and quality control services on the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas, papers, correspondence, confidential briefs and associated activities involving the Deputy Director-General. Identify and effectively manage and resolve risks and issues. Contribute at a high-level to a culture of client service, excellence and continuous improvement. Assist the Deputy Director-General and Manager, Office of the Deputy Director General with project work, which may include preparation for Estimates and other related events, as needed.
