SEO Technical Lead

An exciting opportunity to join our SEO team as a technical lead. This role will see you own, lead and drive the SEO Technical aspects of the Sportsbet website in line with the SEO strategy.

**About The Role**

Reporting into the SEO Manager, you will be leading a number of technical SEO projects and working closely with internal and external stakeholders with an impressive array of SEO tools to serve for your advantage. You will support formulating the overall SEO strategy at Sportsbet and will be a champion in educating, informing and influencing key stakeholders within the business on SEO through deep dive analysis, insightful reporting and engaging storytelling.

Responsibilities Include:

- Assist in creating and defining our ongoing SEO strategy with a high emphasis on improving SEO technical state of the website
- Responsible for ongoing improvements within the SEO-Tech space to identify and implement process efficiencies
- Own and drive the external specialist agency partnerships to deliver high impact business outcomes in line with strategy
- Maintain internal stakeholder collaboration to drive website fixes and enhancements
- Ability to story tell SEO technical projects and impacts across key internal stakeholders by connecting strategy to execution and impact
- Support SEO/Organic reporting while seeking opportunities for continuous improvement

**About You**

We want someone to challenge us, offer up innovative alternatives to our current SEO approaches and ultimately drive even better outcomes from our organic search presence through our strategy and with the passion to share your ideas, results and insights with your team and other stakeholders.
- Exposure to multiple industry-leading SEO tools (Google Search Console, Deep Crawl / Botify, Ahrefs, SEMrush etc)
- A thorough comprehension of Schema.org, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP status codes and web standards
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI will be highly regarded
