**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- We have part time and casual positions available.
- The Care Companion is responsible for all primary care needs of our residents including ADL care, provision of meals, cleaning and laundry. This role will contribute to a successful and sustainable care culture. Mercy Place Montrose offers small household living - a small number of residents living together in each of our eight room apartments.
- Permanent Part Time and casual
- Mercy Place Montrose, Residential Aged Care
- Providing care and support to our residents
- Promoting the physical and emotional wellbeing of residents by providing care using a person centred approach
- Partnering with residents and their families
- Undertake care and documentation to the highest standard
- Pay rates range from $31.2705 - $32.59 (pay rates will be dependent on experience post qualification)

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support
- Previous experience in Aged Care is desirable
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Previous experience in cooking or in a hospitality environment
