Support Worker Co is a leading Support Worker Agency that provides best-fit Disability Support Workers to Disability Service providers.

We are partnering with a long-term specialist Disability Service provider operating across Adelaide and surrounding suburbs, and we have a plenty of work opportunities currently available within their SIL/Day Program environments.

**What you need**:

- Experience in working with people who have complex needs is a must.
- Australian Driver's License
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Manual handling Training
- Medication Training (RDNS Preferred)
- MAPA Training/SIT (Highly Desirable)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Working with Children Check (paid employment)
- Reliable smart phone with data

**Overview of the role**:

- Provide day-to-day support to people with a disability in various environments to help them improve their independence and achieve their goals.
- 24-hour care model, meaning staff are required to work a combination of shifts - morning (from 6am), afternoon (from 2pm), overnight (predominately sleep overs)
- Assist participants with the range of personal activities including hygiene support, use of manual handling equipment, medication assistance, domestic assistance, meals.
- Following specific positive behaviour support plans (PBSP)
- Assist participants with engaging in community, social and recreational activities.
- Support people within both group settings and 1-on-1 arrangements.
- Must be able to drive company vans to transport participants to community-based outings.
