We have casual positions available for sessional Trainers to join our team in Adelaide, Unley.

Healthcare Australia (HCA) is the leading healthcare recruitment solutions provider of nursing staff, disability and aged care workers and medical specialist placements in Australia with operations in every state and territory.

This role would be working with our National Training and Education Division. This is a growing division of our business which includes training programs for existing HCA health care, aged care, and disability support workers. We also work with employers and individuals to deliver accredited training such as First Aid and medications courses and non-accredited mandatory competencies such as manual handling, basic life support, induction programs and technical competencies.

**About the role**
We are seeking an experienced and upbeat RN or EN, preferably with TAE40116 qualifications to join our education team on a casual basis. Based in Adelaide, the role involves a variety of training and assessment activities.

Responsibilities include face-to-face classroom delivery in our purpose built Unley classrooms as well as offsite delivery for external clients. Delivery is hands on and interactive.

Trainers are provided with clear session plans and resources prior to undertaking training sessions. Assessment responsibilities include both practical observation and marking of theoretical tests. We have a highly diverse team with a wide range of experience in the healthcare field, actively contributing to the growth and upskilling of the healthcare and community services sectors.

You’ll be part of Healthcare Australia’s “team purple”. We believe the success of our courses are based on having experienced and passionate nurses working to provide high quality training that will make a real difference in the workplace. We offer regular, flexible hours and provide on-the-job support.

**About you**

We are looking for an experienced nurse that is passionate about engaging with students and delivering a high quality of training.

**Selection criteria**
- a current TAE40116 - desirable but not essential
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Must be an experienced RN or EN (nurses with current aged care or disability support/NDIS experience will be highly regarded)
- Desirable experience in teaching courses such as Manual Handling, Basic Life Support and medication administration for care workers.
- Covid 19 vaccination certificate
- Preferable to have drivers licence
- Effective communication and problem solving skills
- Must reside and hold full working rights in Australia
- Are comfortable utilising technology when delivering courses virtually or face-to-face
