Dental Assistant/receptionist

_**Job Description**_

**Roles and responsibilities**:

- Clinical chair side assisting for a variety of dental procedures;
- Preparing treatment rooms for daily procedures including cleaning and changeover of instrumentation, maintaining appropriate supplies and ordering when required
- Welcoming patients in a friendly manner, building relationships and updating patient chart each visit.
- Comply with the high standards of the Practice by way of Health and Safety, accuracy of information and ensuring confidentiality of patient records.
- Reception duties when required.

**About you**:

- Qualified Cert 3 dental assistant or prior AUS dental assisting experience.
- Good organizational skills and a positive, enthusiastic attitude towards work.
- A full understanding of infection control procedures and tracking system.
- Thorough and extensive knowledge of dental procedures
- A friendly, outgoing and **reliable demeanor**.
- Strong communication and relationship skill.
- Well-developed clinical and administrative skills
- Able to nurse chair side and do own steri.

- Chelsea VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Dental reception: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
