**Easy Authoring is seeking an experienced Workforce Management Specialist to **work with a state government department.
**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**:
The Workforce Management and Development teams develop and manage the strategic human resource policies, programs, and training related to enhancing the capability and performance of the Community Services Directorate. The team is responsible for a broad range of human resource policies, including recruitment, attraction, and retention, capability development, including training planning and delivery, workforce planning and strategies, HRIMS systems, and data maintenance and management, and workforce reporting including analysis of key performance measures.
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
- Manage teams delivering technical and strategic advice to the Executive on workforce matters relating to recruitment, attraction, and retention, HRIMS systems management, and workforce planning, strategies, and reporting.
- Undertake and oversee the preparation of complex briefing materials, correspondence, and strategic documentation relating to relevant workforce requirements.
- Support the Senior Director in leading, developing, and coordinating the strategic direction, program delivery, and outcomes of the Workforce Management and Development teams.
- Build and sustain relationships with key senior executive staff, managers, other ACT Government agencies, and non-Government partners to deliver contemporary, effective, and efficient workforce management outcomes.
- Represent the Directorate at forums, whole of government projects, and events, as required.
**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**:
- Demonstrated ability to analyse workforce data and develop appropriate reports and conduct analysis, identifying the pressure points within the Directorate and including employee life cycle aspects to design and develop effective workforce plans.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver contemporary, evidence-based, and effective workforce and operational results, within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and within set timeframes.
- Qualifications or extensive experience in senior human resource management is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to professionally engage, liaise, and negotiate across a broad range of audiences and consistently achieve positive stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, delivering solutions focussed and legislatively compliant human resources management practice, achieving team results that consistently deliver productivity, efficiency, and service excellence.
- Demonstrated achievement in modelling ethical behaviour and driving team commitment which is aligned with the ACTPS Values and Signature Behaviours and Government priorities achieving consistently high standards.
