About the role
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Engine Technician to join our team based in our Brisbane, Eagle Farm Facility.
This position is considered to be the core business activity within the company and contains a number of different tasks. We require an Engine Technician who will be able to complete tasks related to the assembly, disassembly, inspection, balancing, airflow and test of a gas turbine engine in accordance with the manufacturer specification and company procedures.
**Additional tasks will include but are not limited to**:
- Adherence to all Environmental Health and Safety Regulations, Business Ethics and financial controls.
- Active participation in Continuous Improvement programs and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement in processes, working practices and team efficiency.
- Complete all documentation related to the work being performed correctly and in a timely manner.
Qualifications/Skills/Experience
The applicant needs to hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills or an Australian recognised Aircraft Trade qualification, with at least 2 years of experience in an engine overhaul environment. Ideally but not essential, you will have experience on PT6 engine models along with a working knowledge of Pratt & Whitney Canada publications including overhaul and maintenance manuals, parts catalogues and service bulletins.
You need to be committed to being a highly customer-focused team worker, who can demonstrate flexibility when required, be motivated and willing to take on new initiatives. You will also be a self-starter and have excellent communication skills.
