We are looking for experienced civil engineering technicians

You will predominantly be working from our Brisbane office but may be required to work on-site from time to time as required.

As a Civil Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for:

- Providing support to Civil Engineers in designing and coordinating infrastructure projects and estimating costs
- Preparing sketches, plans, designs and charts for engineering works
- Performing detailed engineering calculations
- Developing BIM models for rail projects, including clash detection, code checking, comparison between different versions of models and drawings
- Surveying sites and testing appropriateness of construction materials and soil samples
- Collating, computing and analysing test data to produce test reports
- Coordinating and communicating civil engineering design requirements with consultants, engineering team, clients and workers
- Inspecting civil engineering works to ensure finished works are within specifications and comply with relevant regulations

To be successful in this role, you will require the following skills/experience:

- Diploma or higher in civil engineering
- At least 3 - 5 years’ experience in civil engineering
- Experience working on major infrastructure projects will be highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Technical acumen and good problem-solving ability
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact and build relationships with stakeholders on all levels

Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and skills.

**Salary**: $108,000.00 - $136,000.00 per year
