The
Engine Technician
role is fundamental to supporting our growing and varied customer base throughout APAC. We require an Engine Technician who will be able to complete tasks related to the assembly, disassembly, repair, balancing, airflow and test of a gas turbine engine in accordance with the manufacturer specification and company procedures.
Qualifications/Skills/Experience
The applicant needs to hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills or an Australian recognised Aircraft Trade qualification, with at least 2 years of experience in an engine overhaul environment. Ideally but not essential, you will have experience on PT6 engine models along with a working knowledge of Pratt & Whitney Canada publications including overhaul and maintenance manuals, parts catalogues and service bulletins.
You need to be committed to being a highly customer-focused team worker, who can demonstrate flexibility when required, be motivated and willing to take on new initiatives. You will also be a self-starter and have excellent communication skills.
