**About the Opportunity**
As an Employee Relations (ER) Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing employee and industrial relations strategies across our diverse and evolving Justice and Immigration (J&I) business. Reporting to the Senior People & Capability Specialist, you will provide expert advice and leadership in managing complex employee relations scenarios, driving change, and ensuring compliance with industrial instruments.
**What you’ll be doing**
- Implementing the ASPAC and J&I ER strategy, including the ER bargaining policy
- Developing and executing ER plans for business units and contracts to address specific needs
- Leading enterprise agreement negotiations and ensuring compliance with governance requirements
- Providing expert advice and support for industrial instruments, disputes, and litigations
- Representing the company in industrial/employment tribunals and conciliations/mediations

**Your ideal skills and experience**
- Ability to travel across Australia and New Zealand on an ad-hoc basis
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Human Resources, Law, or a related discipline or extensive experience in an industrial/employment relations function in a large or complex organisation
- Strong business/commercial acumen with experience in bargaining, dispute management, and litigated claims
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently, delivering results in a dynamic environment
- This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes a Federal police check as an essential selection component for this role._
