As an Oral Care Consultant, you would be part of our dynamic and fast paced Marketing Team. Key responsibilities include: developing and implementing the marketing plans that will establish and maintain current and long-range vision for the brand(s) to increase sales, margin and profitability for the brand(s).

**Job Summary (purpose)**:
The main purpose of this position lies in the engineering and maintenance activities, and upkeep of the Villawood site facilities, in the provision of the overall Villawood site and manufacturing plant. It involves overseeing and managing the engineering, maintenance and contracted facilities team, as well as, supporting IP in managing the purchase and supply of utilities for the site, in support of the plant’s manufacturing operations.

This position also co-ordinates the Capital Engineering Budget, reporting spending updates and summaries for the Australian Manufacturing Management and Engineering group.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Manage all site engineering activities, including preparation of annual Capital Engineering Budget (CEB) projects, costings and presentations for Villawood, Sydney, New Zealand and Fiji.
- Lead the maintenance and engineering team on site, providing coaching and guidance to a team of 3 direct reports, including the Maintenance Manager.
- Managing the contracted facilities management team and expenditure to ensure effective and prompt site services are provided to the site, in support of manufacturing operations, non-manufacturing offices and carrying out building, roads, yards and property repairs and maintenance (R&M) programmes.
- Overseeing the coordination of project management activities for CEB (including listing, approval, allocation, spending of cash flow, reporting and closure), continuous improvement, plant systems and regular upgrades.
- Partner with Operations to ensure ongoing plant reliability.
- Support requirements for NPD activities with cross functional teams.
- Prepare the annual Cost of Sales expenditure budget for the Cost Centre to ensure any major or essential maintenance projects are allowed for.
- Support regular site audits and corrective actions, including safety, quality, and CAD audit activities.
- Support Bottle Making (BM) Team leader and IP to manage BM operations maintenance related activities.
- Support IP for vendor setup, management including supporting major vendors like Sidel and Programmed.
- Liaise with IP and global procurement to source, research and negotiate best supply rates for both electricity, water, natural gas and other site facility needs.
- Attend regular monthly meetings with Liquid Waste Management Team to review volume, costs and trend of liquid waste generation and to explore ways of reducing liquid wastes.
- Manage a team of Engineers to coordinate listing, approval, allocation, spending of cash flow, reporting and closure of Capital Engineering Budget (CEB) projects.
- Support and manage required FAT, SAT, IQ, PQ and OQ activities for equipment installation, upgrades and modifications.
- Partner with Finance and other internal stakeholders in the trialing, testing and launching of the new Capital Management System (CMS) to ensure the new system is fully transitioned and embedded into the day-to-day mainstream of engineering Mechanical Work Order (MWO).
- Support Review, study and coordinate design, purchase and installation of complex equipment in the PNG plant.
- Act as a member of the Quality Assurance Steering Committee.
- Act as the appointed Energy Coordinator for the site to work with the C-P global energy network team and champion the site’s drive to carry out energy audits and initiatives to reduce energy usage.
- Supporting the Plant Systems Engineer for regular plant systems activities, projects, upgrades and breakdowns.
