An exciting upconing opportunity for an expereinced Product Development/Packaging Specialist to join our team in this 12 Month contract opportunity.

This postion can be based at Surry Hills NSW, Alphington VIC or Barossa Valley SA, with regular interstate travel required as part of this position.

**About the Role**

The purpose of the Wine New Product Development Projects & Packaging Specialist is to lead the project management of wine product initiatives from idea through to launch. You'll work across creative, commercial & production functions fostering great team work & communication at all times. A key part of this role is managing projects through our newly implemented project workflow system (Adobe workfront) with teams. Of importance is that new projects are set up correctly from day 1 & are following an agreed way of working. The role also acts as an owner of our workfront system feedback for our business, championing the system & improvements to processes & upgrades.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Leadership of cross functional teams on NPD projects & agreed strategic initiatives to meet project KPIs. Fosters great team work & behaviours at all times. Leads regular project WIP meetings ensuring project status is kept up to date.
- Moves to get projects into our NPD process for the benefit of our teams - provides visibility of requirements to key team members & stakeholders.
- Facilitates completion of new product briefs, COGS builds & stage gate papers with accountable team members.
- Ensures all products comply with regulatory, quality & sustainability standards.
- Manage projects through our project management platform Adobe Workfront - champions its success & leads further improvement in its capability, that it is adding value to our team & ways of working.

**About You**

To be successful in this position you'll have a comprehensive understanding of product development practices, ideally within similar FMCG or retail organisations.

This position will see you interacting with numerous internal and external stakeholders, so you will require strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills

You'll also have:

- Experience with project management systems / workflow driven software.
- Good packaging experience & knowledge of beverage manufacturing.
- Strong cross functional leadership & project management capability.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management & negotiation skills - ability to influence at all levels.
- Process improvement methodology - ability to continually refine, simplify & improve our practices.
- Degree or equivalent qualifications in business or a science related field would be highly regarded as well as accreditation in project management.
