SAHSSI is a not-for-profit specialist domestic violence and homelessness service in the Illawarra / Shoalhaven. We support women and children who are at risk of domestic violence and homelessness to recover, reduce their trauma, increase their safety, and build their capacity to thrive in the community. We also support men who are homeless or at risk of homelessness through the Shoalhaven Homeless Hub.

This role will inspire and motivate teams to achieve strategic and operational goals, building a highly collaborative and client focused culture.

Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Services/ Welfare, or similar
- Experience leading and developing operational teams in the domestic violence/ homelessness sector
- Demonstrated experience in leading diverse teams of priority cohorts (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, Multicultural, LGBTIQ+, Older women), tailoring staff support and leadership to meet the discreet needs of the individual
- Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve strategic and operational goals, building a highly collaborative and client focused culture.
- Ability to manage financial resources within budget allocations.
- Experience in developing and communicating effective operational policies, processes, and systems, identifying process improvement areas and delivering quality outcome initiatives.
- Ability to foster and grow partnerships with key stakeholders, deliver presentations, and represent SAHSSI publicly.

Pay: $106,389.92 - $111,092.80 per year
