**The Opportunity**

Come and discover the opportunity to join our **Geelong team** in our Lysaght business as an **Operations Supervisor.** Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.

In this hands-on role, you will support the team in the warehouse operations of loading and unloading steel product onto trucks and operating the roll-forming machines. You’ll lead by example ensuring our products are delivered on time for our customers and your safety and that of the team are never compromised.

**This role will require you to lead a team of 18 employees in the day and afternoon shifts, with flexible work hours predominantly during the day shift. you will support both day and afternoon shift teams in an overlapping arrangement. You will be required to oversee the end-to-end process across the 2 shifts.**

**What Will You Do?**

With a strong focus on teamwork, you will:

- lead and supervise our operations area including production scheduling, machine operation and maintenance
- support and assist your team with daily operational activities
- identify opportunities to improve efficiency, performance and mitigate risk - striving for on time delivery for our customers
- ensure safety standards are continuously evolving, championing change when risks and opportunities are identified
- grow and mentor your team to develop their technical capability
