**About the role**:
As part of our growth journey, we are looking for our next Head of Motors (Director) to lead our National Motors team, driving the strategic directions for the Motors Sales business. The Motors team is responsible for delivering best in class service to our valued dealer partners in Australia as we continue to grow our business, driving high impact opportunities for clients and nurturing our existing relationships with dealers across the country.

The Head of Motors currently reports directly to our CEO and is charged with leading the Motors Sales Strategy, building on our high performance team and continuing to evolve, streamline and support innovative new products that help our Dealers unlock value and drive results. This is not a role for the faint hearted, this person will be a leader in their industry, with already existing meaningful relationships and networks across the country and they will know how to quickly develop new markets through their networks and coaching capability for those in their team.

**Your Role**:
Responsible for end to end motors sales strategy and leadership, transformation initiatives and leading the national Motors team collectively in line with our values
You will work closely with our operations, sales excellence, marketing, product, and tech teams to drive best in class outcomes for dealers and place us in a position of competitive advantage.
You will be leading a large team of sales professionals and will have a unique opportunity to make a difference in the Australian Automotive market.
You will have an extensive background in sales strategy & leadership and an in-depth understanding of how to win in the automotive classifieds space.
You will advise on and identify commercial growth strategies, optimizations and revenue models including pricing, you take the lead in cross functional teams to execute on those.
You will relentlessly improve how we measure success, constantly monitoring and looking for ways to improve process and collaboration.
You will develop and implement best in class reporting to accurately report to dealers, the sales team and internal stakeholders on appropriate data, metrics, and results.
You will monitor and report on market conditions and financial and operational performance of competitors. Advise on strategic implications for Autotrader Group and identify growth opportunities.
You will ensure we deliver the best in class technology solution to dealers & sales team that addresses the challenges in the current system through understanding of the technology solutions
Develop and review quarterly Head of Motors Strategy plan, including introduction of dealer products, business development and trade communication pillars
Maintain strong communication channels with cross-functional teams, to develop on the sales strategy and dealer centric approach.
