**About Abergeldie**
Abergeldie is a locally owned contractor with over 25 years’ industry experience in Australia and New Zealand. We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation industry sectors. Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.
**About the role**
We are currently looking for an experienced Scheduler to join our Infrastructure team. You will be working closely with our Project teams to create, maintain, and report on project schedules including cost and resource loading in P6 and Microsoft Project. This role will support our NSW Infrastructure team working across various projects. Some of our current projects include the New Dubbo Bridge Project which will provide a second high-level river crossing in Dubbo, improving travel efficiency along the Newell Highway, reducing traffic congestion and enhancing access across the Macquarie River during flood events. We are also working on the Medlow Bath roadworks Upgrade which is part of the Great Western Highway Upgrade which is delivering a safer, more efficient, and reliable journey for those travelling in, around and through the Blue Mountains, and improving the connection with the Central West.
At Abergeldie our strategy is to pursue the more complex projects and to always look for opportunities to innovate. So, at Abergeldie, you will have the chance to work on technically complex (and varied) projects and have the opportunity to constantly push your skills and expertise.
**What you’ll need to succeed**
You will be an experienced Scheduler with a strong background in civil construction, particularly in bridges and roads and be highly skilled in P6 and Microsoft Project with relevant qualifications. Ideally you will come from a delivery/engineering background with onsite construction experience. You will also be experienced managing EOT and delays and have strong stakeholder engagement skills.
**Why you should work with us**
Our people are what make Abergeldie successful, and we make sure that this is the kind of place where great people enjoy working for the long term. We have a range of employee benefits including the Abergeldie Bonus Scheme, where all eligible employees share in the benefits of the projects they have helped to deliver. When we deliver winning projects, we celebrate success together
