**About the role**

We have a great opportunity for a commercially focused finance leader to head up our REM, Total Loss and State Support Teams. You’ll be responsible for:

- Coaching and mentoring a team of Finance managers, Finance Business Partners and Business Analysts. Owning the change agenda to improve stock loss, REM efficiency and waste & mark down levels.
- Work in partnership with key stakeholders across senior finance leadership team and operations leadership team to improve understanding of the key issues driving loss and assure affective improvement plans are in place.
- Provide commercial insight and finance advice on potential areas of improvement. Empowering and leading the team to provide strategies to work toward goal of efficiency.
- Have a focus on Continuous Improvement of processes. Identifying, assessing and evaluating opportunities to reduce ‘Total loss’ and improve REM efficiency.
- Actively support the finance strategy by effectively monitoring and tracking performance and ensure the outcomes are delivered.

**About you and your skills**:
As** Head of Finance - Renumeration, Smarter Profit and State Support** you’ll have a strong commercial acumen, be people focused and strategically driven professional with demonstrated experience leading large finance teams. Ideally, you’ll also have:

- CA or CPA qualification, or equivalent
- Experience in corporate advisory, management consulting, corporate strategy, commercial finance or demonstrated performance in similar role providing commercial support.
- Experience in developing high performance finance teams
- Experience delivering varied initiatives within a retail environment with exposure to operations and merchandise impacts.
- Experience in driving organisational change and influencing key business partners
- A varied finance background covering Financial Control, Financial Performance & Analysis, and Commercial Finance Partnering
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to hold stakeholders and the business to account for delivering performance objectives
