**About Us**
- QML Pathology is part of Healius' Pathology division, one of Australia's leading providers of private medical laboratory and pathology services. We operate about 100 medical laboratories and 2,000 patient collection centres across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia. Each year, we provide one in every three pathology services in Australia, extending from exclusively servicing some of Australia's largest and most complex private and public hospitals to small and remote Australian Aboriginal communities.
**About the Role**
- This position is primarily responsible for creating accurate and efficient rosters for all Collectors and filling planned and unplanned vacancies across the Collector Network in a timely and appropriate manner. This is achieved through the utilisation of a computerised rostering system.
**Your Duties will include**:
- Ensuring rosters within designated area are created with target of zero site closures and available at least six (6) weeks in advance of the current date.
- Maintain staff profiles in Workforce Dimensions and ensure they accurately reflect position, hours, award, area, and shift.
- Ensuring timely and accurate data entry for any changes to shifts
- Ensuring all updates or changes to rosters due to personal leave, shift swap requests or other unforeseen requirements are actioned.
- Ensuring all communications are attended to in a positive and courteous manner providing accurate and appropriate information if requested.
- The timely, accurate and appropriate management of vacancies within Collections.
- Monitoring of casual employees: availability recorded, numbers of declined shifts and variability of areas/shifts worked.
- Ensuring Reliever Collectors are utilised to the full extent of their contracted hours within the most efficient radius of their nominated hub.
- Work closely and liaise with Commercial Team, and Collection Lead as soon as possible if vacancies cannot be filled or only partially filled.
**About You**
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
- Possess a high level of attention to detail and strong organisation skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, time management, decision making and prioritisation experience in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a dynamic fast paced team environment.
- Minimum 2 years rostering experience highly regarded.
- Relevant experience with electronic rostering systems, Kronos Work Force Dimensions highly regarded.
- Strong computer literacy skills in particular Microsoft suite.
