An Australian Public Service role seeking APS3 Contact and Early Resolution Centre Officers.

**Your new company**

A federal government agency recruiting for Contact and Early Resolution Centre Officers in a well-established agency to join their team on a temporary contract initially for a 6-12-month contract. This Australian Government Department plays a critical role for the wider Australia, improving the quality and safety of the departments supports and services, as well as ensuring the rights of people and promoting health, safety and wellbeing of people continues to be put first.

**Your new role**

In your new team you will have the opportunity to provide a high level of customer support with high motivation. This work will involve excellent customer service skills with strong communication and telephone manner.

Your primary responsibilities are:

- Manage inbound calls relating to all departments functions
- Draft correspondence using agreed formats and structured guidelines.
- Identifying and escalating issues requiring urgent attention or specialist expertise.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Maintain a professional manner in communicating with a group of internal and external stakeholders, using strong interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to work and support a culturally sensitive and progressive work environment.
- Flexibility in carrying out different duties listed to support business requirements.

**What you'll need to succeed**

Your previous experience in a similar role within the Australian Public Service will lead to your success. You will have a strong track record with experience in customer service support and strong attention to detail.

Security requirements: You must be an Australian citizen.
